Krystal received U.S. FDA approval for the first-ever redosable gene therapy treatment, VYJUVEK, for the treatment of Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (DEB). Krystal continues to leverage our proprietary platform to develop new treatments across a robust clinical pipeline. Located near Krystal's headquarters are two state-of-the-art GMP facilities.

    Job Description Summary:

    We are seeking a Director of HCP Marketing who be responsible for leading the development, advancement, and execution of the brand strategy and associated tactics for VYJUVEK, focused primarily on the healthcare professional segment.

    Lead the development and execution of high-impact marketing materials and programs in the U.S. as well as other global markets to ensure consistency and optimize spend.

    This is a highly visible role with the organization and will require cross-functional collaboration across the organization, with partners such as Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Patient Services, & Sales.

    Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Develops marketing strategies, timely and effective plans, and programs for VYJUVEKAnalyzes and proposes innovative and competitive strategies in the development of the brand plan, including serving as the brand planning leadOptimizes the execution and strategy of HCP speaker programs, including content development as well as steering committee and advisory board initiativesLeads the cross-functional planning for national conference presenceServes as a subject matter expert for the brand, with a deep knowledge of the disease state, treatment landscape, patient journey, and market trendsDevelops academic and community physician strategies and execution plans through insights gained from market research, field insights, and advisory boardsBuilds effective working relationships with key external stakeholders, such as thought leaders, advocacy groups, and medical societiesWorks closely with field leadership to ensure field alignment with brand strategy, and identifies opportunities for training needsLiaises with Medical Affairs teams & other key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are efficiently translated into effective initiativesDevelops and delivers presentations as needed to senior leadership and other internal teamsMust be able to work independently with minimal oversight requiredAccountable for proactive management of marketing activities to assure compliance with internal Company and external requirements


    Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
    BS/BA with 8 years commercial experience including sales or marketingDemonstrated experience and marketing success in rare diseaseLaunch experience preferredExperience managing external agencies and working collaboratively with promotional review teams to ensure compliance with industry regulationsStrong communication, organizational and operational skills, with attention to detail and sound business judgmentStrong critical thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindsetProven project management skills including objective setting, prioritization, planning, timeline and budget management, and pull-though of clear action plansAbility to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic environmentTravel approximately 25%, on an as-needed basis
