    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Oncology Pod Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, EPIC proficiency, and prior travel nursing experience.

    Responsibilities
    Oncology Pod Emergency Department setting within a large cancer hospital and research environment

    Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4

    12-hour day/night rotating shifts (7:00–19:30 days, 19:00–7:30 nights); shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period
    Floating is required for this position
    Epic EMR experience is required
    Telemetry monitoring is performed in this unit
    13-week contract
    Oncology experience is preferred but not required
    All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility's discretion for a 13-week contract
    No mandatory break between consecutive assignments at this health system (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)

    Requirements
    Active OH or compact RN license currently in hand

    Current certifications required:
    BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
    Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
    Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
    Proficiency with IV starts required
    Telemetry monitoring experience required
    Epic EMR experience required
    2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years
    Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
