    POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):

    Reporting to the Manager of Visual Merchandising, this role's main function is the development and buildout of store floor-set merchandising plans for ASICS full price retail and outlet stores based on season and product assortment level, and to assist with training and support of merchandising principles for the retail fleet. Additionally, this role assists in informing physical marketing support plans for all seasonal needs for ASICS full-price Retail & Outlet channels.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (include titles of positions directly reporting to this position):
    • This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
    • Interacts with various levels throughout organization including employees, leadership, and outside vendors.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Assist with concept development & execute merchandising seasonal floor-sets & monthly windows for ASICS Factory Outlet Stores & Full-price Retail ensuring timely execution across multiple store layout concepts. Provide merchandising support in partnership with Direct to Consumer cross-functional partners on all product launches and seasonal updates to ensure alignment & singular brand vision. Create seasonal VM guides, detailing visual presentation of key stories, sell-down strategies, and product flow.
    • Provide ongoing VM training and support to stores. Help with floor-set photo submissions on seasonal basis & facilitate training opportunities to develop Field Team visual skills. Communicate regularly with Field Team on upcoming executional needs. Schedule conference calls with stores and DMs to ensure Field Teams understand key merchandising strategies and marketing needs in partnership with VM team and field team.
    • Assist the Visual Merchandising Manager in visual layout, fixture orders and merchandising plan for new store opening and remodel needs. Support the creation of NSO and remodel flow maps and directives. Support execution needs for new store openings and remodels as needed.
    • Assist chapter maintenance for the ASICS Visual Standards Guide to ensure compliance across store environments.
    • Help support the outlet signage/marketing briefs in partnership with the VM team to support the outlet promotional calendar. Communicate floorset non-sell hour needs to Retail Operations in a timely manner.
    • Assist in monitoring monthly invoices to support budget tracking needs. Receive invoices directly from vendors. Process includes creating POs, accurately coding, approvals, and submitting invoices to accounting.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
    • 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising desirable or equivalent work experience
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Experience working with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. considered a plus
    • Experience workign with Visual Merchandising software programs considered a plus (IWD, Visual Retailer, Mockshop, etc.)
