    Description:

    Perform a variety of administrative and patient care supportive duties. Assist administrative, medical and/or nursing staff in the registration, examination and treatment of patients, ensuring the office runs smoothly. Candidates will be working with Providers and on their feet the majority of time. Register and process appointment check-in and check-out in the electronic medical record systems. Enter and/or verify health insurance information and collect payments as necessary. Check to ensure eligibility for services. Schedule appointments for new and returning student patients. Provide information to other clinics and ancillary services. Provide routine information regarding services and direct patients to assigned areas and other locations upon request.

    Qualifications:

    o 1+ years' experience as a CMA required

    o CMA (AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, or NHA) and AHA BLS certification required

    o Phlebotomy skills/willingness required

    o Reliability, commitment, and willingness to learn required

    Hours:

    Monday-Friday from 8:00a-5:00p

    Pay Rate:

    $20 to $25/hour
