    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    • The Engineer will support the Construction Manager in overseeing the architectural aspects of projects, including clean rooms.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure work is completed as per specifications and inspections are conducted.
    • Monitor project schedule and order updates as necessary; track progress of workarounds.
    • Coordinate with construction teams to align equipment deliveries with the owner's procurement progress.
    • Update project risk register to identify and manage potential project risks.
    • Process information requests promptly and ensure timely responses are provided.
    • Track field progress and update progress curves bi-weekly.
    • Generate monthly quality reports.
    • Manage engineering turnover information efficiently.
    • Coordinate Site Acceptance Testing and other commissioning activities with operational personnel for training purposes.
    • Provide project closeout and turnover scope to ensure a smooth delivery of manufacturing capacity.

    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

    • The Project Engineer will collaborate with internal and external project team members, as well as the Operational Readiness team. Interactions with engineering, consultants, contractors, equipment vendors, and validation resources are essential for success.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Requires more than 5 years of experience in managing large-scale capital projects for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
    • Experience in overseeing field information, schedule updates, construction quality systems, commissioning, and systems turnover.
    • Participation in cross-functional construction teams.
    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong organizational and document control skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in CPM scheduling.
