Description
Basic Function:The Associate Nurse Manager functions as the clinical manager of a unit for an assigned shift. Provides support to the nurse manager in the planning, education, coordination, staffing, and supervision of nursing care delivery to ensure efficient and effective patient care. Ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory standards of care and practice.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently licensed in New York State as an RN and a graduate of an approved school of nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required, MSN preferred. A minimum of three years experience in the acute care setting required, Endoscopy experienced preferred. ACLS certification is required and must be completed within 180 days of hire.
