Full Time: days, weekends & evenings
**Merchandizing:**
Floor Category placement planning with guidance of the Headquarters Retail Team
All displays planned on floor
Display maintenance of our merchandising to ensure that the product placement is correct
**Inventory Control:**
All purchases ordered should be accounted for in the system
All incoming products counted in properly
All incoming products received properly into the system
Accurate control in the system of all product that leaves the retail inventory: transfers, RTVs, damages
Proper organization and execution of all physical inventories
Security of all owned inventory
Proper organization of all off-floor stock areas
**Financial:**
Organization and documentation of all receiving, transfer, RTVs and damages
Approval of invoices with completed receiving, proper disposition of approved paperwork to accounting
Proper follow up and disposition of all transfers, RTVs and damages
Complete end of the month packets with documentation
Review with Headquarters Retail Team and correct when needed the monthly income statements. Analyze the P&L every month to understand your business
Coordinate the timing of all physical inventories with Headquarters Retail Team and communicate and document results of the inventory
Responsibility for creating all financial plans including cap, cost of sales, and expenses
Responsibility for executing and adhering to all financial plans, including cap, cost of sales, and expenses
**Operations:**
Ensure proper coverage of personnel on the sales floor and backroom/offsite by reviewing every weekly schedule
Ensure that all employees in the gift shop understand and execute their responsibilities properly
Insure that anyone to whom you delegate any of your responsibilities understands what is expected of them and properly executes those responsibilities
Handle any personnel problems or issues properly or seek out HR for assistance
Act as liaison with all other departments to represent the gift shop as needed
**Requirements:**
Prior retail experience with 1-3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting
Experience working with POS systems
Knowledge of proper cash handling procedures is required
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand for periods of up to 8 hours
Able to bend, stoop, push, pull and lift without restriction
Understand, speak, and write English
Proficient computer skills
Positive attitude and natural ability to motivate and inspire others
Impeccable integrity and work ethic; self-motivated and takes initiative
Proactive, self-sufficient, and comfortable in a busy customer service/retail environment
Must be passionate about the business of family fun and entertainment
