    As a Corporate Finance/Tax Intern, your essential job responsibilities will include the following:
    • Support Finance/Tax department with a variety of tax accounting responsibilities.
    • Support in the preparation and analysis of income taxes, sales/use taxes, property taxes.
    • Collects and analyzes tax information.
    • Research/Resolve transaction issues for assigned accounts.
    • Assist with the preparation of ad hoc and other internal reports.
    • Assist with audit requests.
    • Manage small scale ad hoc deadline-based projects, while maintaining day-to-day routines.
    • Provide project support to the Department staff on an as needed basis, and in conjunction with other priorities.
    • Actively manage own time to accomplish the above within time frames established and agreed upon between Intern and Department

    Position Requirements
    • Accounting/finance major, preferably entering junior or senior year in 2024
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work well within a team
    • Well organized, initiative-taker who eagerly approaches new challenges and looks for opportunity
    • Proven ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and maturity
    • Proficient at entry level in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
    Physical Requirements
    • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen
    • Sitting for extended periods of time
