    Responsibilities:
    Provides oversight for Quality and Patient Safety for assigned Northside care locations, external to the Northside Atlanta campus. Assists the Director and Vice President of Quality with organization wide projects and goals.


    Qualifications:

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or health care related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years combined experience in health care field in the following functions: Quality Improvement or JCAHO coordination, either in hospital or ambulatory settings.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in data analysis and report writing.
    • Provides clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, objective judgement, self-direction and motivation.
    • Ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines, including physicians and nurses.
    • Make presentations on topics related to quality and regulatory issues.
    • Able to participate as part of a team to accomplish an assigned project.

    PREFERRED:

    • Master of Science degree
    • Supervisory experience
    • Training as team leader and facilitator
    • Certification in Health Care Quality.

    Work Hours::
    8 AM - 5 PM
