Job summary
This position is responsible for the drainage engineering required by Highlands County involving design and implementation of all facilities relating to drainage, stormwater, and flood control. Serves as the supervisor for Stormwater Department personnel and as a project manager for complex multi-disciplined projects.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates areas of need related to drainage and other infrastructure.
- Performs design of drainage systems as well as roadways, intersections, and other public works projects in accordance with established specifications and standards.
