Description

We are seeking a Sales person that can utilize Xactimate for fire & water insurance claim reconstruction work.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Satisfaction

• Establish customer relationship for construction services
• Educate customer on the construction process
• Work with customers to understand desired upgrades/changes
• Work with insurance adjustors to ensure that estimates meet client requirements.

2. Project Initiation

• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for reconstruction projects
• Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work
• Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate
• Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades
• Work with Project Manager to price bid items, if needed.

3. Project Planning

• Identify and document finalized project scope of work.
• Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e. Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.)
• Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates.
• Deliver and Communicate estimate to Reconstruction Project Manager.

Necessary Experience and Skill Set

• 2 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
• Superb customer service track record
• Effective written and oral communication
• Proficient use of XactimateTM estimating software preferred
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team Player
• Must have good driving record
• Construction project management experience a bonus

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time salaried position Monday–Friday. This position sometimes requires long hours to meet estimating deadlines. Some weekend work and help with emergency projects may be needed.

$45, $75,000.00 per year Compensation: $55, $85,000.00 per year
