    Join Our Palliative Care Team

    We are seeking a specialist in palliative care to join our team at Largo Medical Center. In collaboration with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care through an industry-leading delivery model.

    As a MAPMG physician, you will have access to advanced technological tools and comprehensive practice support, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive palliative care assessments and develop care plans as part of an interdisciplinary team.
    • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and commitment to equality in providing palliative care services to diverse populations.
    • Utilize prescriptive authority responsibly to treat complex symptoms, including opiate stewardship.
    • Provide palliative care services using various methodologies, including in-person, video, and telephonic consultations.
    • Participate in initiatives to foster education, clinical ethics, team building, quality improvement, and clinical innovation.
    • Collaborate with the Medical Director to establish and grow a nation-leading palliative care service line.

    Requirements:

    • MD or DO degree
    • Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Care
    • Licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
