    Description

    In accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures, performs computerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidance of a radiologist.


    Responsbilities:

    • Technical knowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures.
    • Demonstrates proficiency in the utilization of all aspects of the department's radiology information system.
    • Accurately interprets and follows physician's scanning instructions and prescription.
    • Uses independent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CT images.
    • Educates patient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure.
    • Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program with ARRT Certification.
    • Certification in CT is highly preferred. Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire.
    • Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably with Philips experience.
    • 3D Imaging experience highly preferred.
    • Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
    • Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within one month of hire date.
    • Ability to work as a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficient team.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
