Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational and therapy services, is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a contract position in Middleport, NY. If you are passionate about supporting the mental health and well-being of students, we invite you to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies.
Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' educational plans.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies and support services.

Qualifications:

Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
New York state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Previous experience working as a School Psychologist is preferred.
Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents.

Requirements:

Valid New York state licensure in School Psychology.
Successful completion of a criminal background check and relevant screenings.
