    Kingfisher Recruiting has been retained by Farm Bureau Insurance to support their business strategy and recruiting needs. Farm Bureau is looking to add multiple agents to the greater Detroit and Ann Arbor areas and it's a great time for you to join the team.

    Role Description
    This is a full-time hybrid role as an Owner/Agent in the greater Detroit area of Michigan, located in Southeast Michigan, encompassing Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, and Wayne Counties. The Principal Owner will be responsible for overseeing the agency's operations, developing business strategies, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and other relevant laws. Some work from home is acceptable.
    Qualifications

    • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills
    • Experience in the insurance industry or financial services
    • Thorough understanding of insurance regulations and compliance
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven track record of business development and growth
    • Knowledge of life, home, auto, and business insurance products
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Preferred)

    • Certifications such as CIC, CPCU, or AAI are a plus
    Benefits:
    -$48,000 your first year as a stipend (You don't pay it back, but it's only the first year, so legally we can't call it a salary.)
    -Free office and Executive Assistant your first two years (No one does this. This is a huge investment to getting you up and running.)
    -You own your book of business. (This is also very unique in the industry as usually the company owns the clients.)
    The company is structured to help new agents get up and running with a stipend, free office and a lot of support. After the first two years, agents will have built a strong book of business and will be continuing to grow their agency.
    Our agents make an average of over $350,000 annually with top agents earning over $800,000. This is an industry that takes time to grow so the sooner you start the more opportunity you have.
