    Description


    The Production and Regulatory Analyst is a key team member who will drive the creation and maintenance of an efficient and robust production accounting and analysis system.

    This is a critical role to lead the development of cutting edge analytics to ensure accurate databases, realize maximum value creation, and regulatory reporting compliance.


    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills who can work well with field personnel along with executive management team members.

    Job Responsibilities
    Creation and maintenance of setups in production accounting systems
    Establishing a production platform that optimizes analysis from multiple data sources
    Analysis and reconciliation of daily/monthly volumes for oil/gas/water; troubleshooting of volume discrepancies
    Assistance with internal and external audit requests
    Close interaction with field personnel to facilitate production accounting processes
    Researching and reconciling monthly production and purchasing statements
    Monitoring daily and monthly production and allocations and ensure accurate allocations
    Setting up wells, equipment, and new routes when needed for Lease Operators
    Ensure timely and accurate reporting production volumes to regulatory agencies
    Job Experience
    5+ years production accounting experience in upstream oil and gas industry
    Oil and gas production accounting and regulatory reporting experience
    Solid understanding of production accounting, including allocation methods and reconciliation
    Strong ability to analyze data, reach own conclusions, and effectively communicate recommendations
    Professional oral and written communication style
    Job Skills
    Expertise in running P2 software (eVIN & ProCount, Field Operator, Petroregs) required
    Proficient knowledge of ND state production reporting requirements
    Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Sharepoint)
    Proficient knowledge in developing and running in Spotfire or Microsoft Power BI is a bonus
    Strong time management and organizations skills
    Ability to multitask under deadline pressures
    Strong attention to details, positive attitude, adaptive to work challenges, independent initiative and work well within a team setting
