- Provides high quality general education instruction to students who are at-risk in reading, writing and/or mathematics.
- Uses identified scientific, research-based interventions focused specifically on individual student difficulties.
- Provides the high quality instructional time needed to move students to grade level proficiency.
- Monitors program effectiveness by analyzing assessment results at the school level and provides supports to teachers as needed.
- Attends all meetings and trainings as assigned.
- Communicates with Principal on school-wide progress of interventions.
- Utilizes tracking form to maintain lists of students participating in interventions.
- Provides clear and timely information to parents/caregivers and colleagues regarding classroom expectations, student progress, and ways they can assist learning.
- Provides high quality general education to students identified as gifted and talented.
- Accepts other duties as may be assigned which are related to the scope of the job.
- Independently plans and implements activities to address the needs of students
- Strong background in instructional strategies, leadership ability, and content related to school improvement plans.
- Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming (Elementary Education Degree).
- Possess at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree.
- Be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods without fatigue or discomfort.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to lift above the head at least 50 pounds.
- Be able to push up to 200 pounds up to 30 feet.
- Be able to pull up to 100 pounds up to 50 feet.
- Be able to carry up to 25 pounds up to 100 feet.
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, finger, talk, hear, and see.
- Be able to spend most of the time inside classrooms with some work outside in cold/hot weather.
