    This is the role
    The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) operates as a trusted advisor and partner to the organization.


    In this role, the HRBP is responsible for development, implementation, and coordination of the organization's human resource strategies for the North American region.

    The HRBP aligns human resource objectives with employees, management and Haarslev's business plan.


    The HRBP anticipates, manages, and delivers value-added service that impacts the organization's goals in the areas of talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and total rewards.


    This position will collaborate with the global HR leadership team, local leadership, and external HR partners to deliver exceptional customer service to the business.

    You will report to the President of North America and be a part of the Human Resource team in North America.

    Tasks and responsibilities

    Serves as the HR subject matter expert to managers and employees; and establishes HR as a credible and trustworthy source.

    Administer talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, wellness, safety, payroll, compliance, policy, performance management, employee relations and training development.

    Manage and maintain data in various human resource information systems, including payroll, benefits, time and attendance, applicant tracking, and employee interface.

    Manage programs, policies, and procedures to support organizational culture and business needs and recommend changes as necessary.
    Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance standards in all areas of responsibility.
    Fosters positive, diverse, and inclusive culture through education, communications, and initiatives.

    Applies experience and uses judgement, providing candid, unbiased coaching, and counsel to improve individual and team performance and enhance people leader effectiveness.

    Lead functional specific change management initiatives across area of responsibility, supporting leaders, staff, and HR colleagues in implementing new initiatives and driving behavioral change.

    Guide and support leadership in achieving maximum potential and ensure compliance and fair treatment.
    Facilitate performance management through established processes, systems, and training.

    Define competencies in cooperation with leadership to develop and coordinate training plans that improve the effectiveness of the organization and Haarslev team.

    Conduct assessments to identify issues and partner with

    managers/supervisors

    to implement solutions.
    Conduct investigations of workplace policy violations and mediate difficult employee relations issues.
    Serve as a team leader for organizational initiatives.
    Analyze and report HR metrics including key performance indicators to assess and improve HR services.
    Organize, facilitate and attend regular meetings to ensure cross-functional alignment of initiatives and business plan.
    Partner with global

    leaders on people strategy implementation.
    Lead/co-leads special projects or initiatives as assigned
    Requirements
    10+ years of HR related work experience
    An HR professional with a bachelor's degree in related discipline

    Certifications preferred:
    Senior Professional in HR (SPHR), Senior Professional in HR -International (SPHRi), Global Professional in HR (GPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM- SCP)
    Proven success with people leadership and change management.
    Extensive knowledge of all HR workstreams with expertise in one or more workstream.
    Must have experience with human resource information systems (HRIS).

    Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with all levels of personnel and build strong networks.

    Experience with cross-cultural collaboration.
