POSITION OVERVIEW

The Program Manager LEAD (PML) is a key leadership role within the Electronic Contract Manufacturing (ECM) sector, responsible for overseeing a team of program managers who drive the successful execution of customer programs.

This position ensures that projects meet customer expectations, adhere to timelines, and achieve financial and operational goals while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership:
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of program managers, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management:

Serve as a senior point of contact for strategic customers, ensuring clear communication, strong relationships, and proactive issue resolution.

Project Oversight:
Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with customer specifications and contractual obligations.

Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, program execution, and customer satisfaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality departments to resolve challenges and optimize project outcomes.

Reporting & Metrics:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for program management activities; prepare and present regular reports to Director of PM for presentation to senior management.

Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all programs comply with customer requirements, and company policies.
Continued Program Management activities for selected accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in program management within the electronic contract manufacturing industry.
Proven leadership and supervisory experience, including team development and performance management.
Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, supply chain, and quality systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MICROSOFT office suite to include WORD, EXCELL, & POWERPOINT with MS PROJECT understanding preferred.
Strong understanding of MRP systems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

VALUED SKILLS, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Multinational customer experience and global program oversight.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Program Manager LEAD works primarily in an office setting within a manufacturing environment and may require occasional travel to customer sites, suppliers, or company facilities.
