    Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA, is currently hiring a Part Time, Day Shift Clinical Dietician/Registered Dietician for Cardiovascular Therapy. This position will be supporting the Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab Program.

    Job Description:

    • Responsible for managing patient's medical nutrition therapy in accordance with the medical staff approved clinical practice standards. Serves as a resource for nutrition education.

    Job Requirements:

    • Education:Bachelor's Level Degreein Dietetics. If Bachelor's Degree is in a major other than Dietetics, must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.
    • License/Certification: Registered Dietician (RD) with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). If not RD or RDN at hire, must obtain within 9 months. BLS required within 90 days of hire.

    Job Summary

Will provide one-on-one consults, teaching, and cooking demonstrations. This position will teach cooking demonstrations along with teaching course materials and meet with patients 1-1.

    Qualifications:

    BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Dietetics (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Dietician (RD) - Certifications - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) - Certifications - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
