Near Hendersonville, Kentucky (Bowling Green area)

Urgent Need:

Opportunity Overview:

We are actively seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to fill a full-time locum tenens role at a 211-bed hospital in the Bowling Green region.

This is a rewarding opportunity to serve a vibrant patient population in a well-equipped and accredited emergency care facility, supported by a skilled clinical team.

Key Details:

Urgent Need:
Immediate start required to cover open full-time positions


Schedule:
Rotational 12-hour shifts including morning, mid, and night


No on-call duties Duration:
Initial contract of 1 year with potential for extension


Orientation:
Includes 2 days of shadowing and orientation shifts


Candidate Requirements:
Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Experience with standard emergency department procedures, including lines, intubations, and chest tubes. Open to new graduates with appropriate skills and certifications such as ATLS. Emergency privileges available depending on applicant qualifications.

Bed Count: 211

Daily Patient Census:
Approximately 100 patients with 70 billable encounters per day


Support Staff:
Includes nurses and technicians


Specialized Centers:
Accredited chest pain and stroke center.
