Sanitation Second Shift - Chicago, IL, United States - Alpha Baking

Description

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and the plant environment. Knowledge of sanitation master schedule
Clean and sanitize production line operating equipment (ovens, mixers, etc.)
Clean and sanitize baking equipment including bins, trays, etc.
Operate floor scrubber to clean concrete flooring
Perform housekeeping duties including, restrooms, lunchroom, offices, conference room, etc.
Discard all corrugated, inedible food and other packing material

Operate a baler

~ Knowledge of production line operating equipment

~ Knowledge of equipment assembly

~ Knowledge of chemicals, chemical color coding system and chemical handling

~ Work weekends or overtime as assigned
Other duties and/or projects assigned.


SCOPE DATA:
~ Area of impact – plant, plant grounds, and surrounding area as assigned

Position interfaces with all department leads and machine operators to determine extent of sanitation needs.

Able to work on feet for the entire shift.
