    Summary

    Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care in accordance with established standards and skill competency.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a current license or a temporary practice permit to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, developed skill in delivering nursing care, and the ability to adapt of individual needs.
  • A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
  • The ability to successfully complete a competency based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and/or knowledge that is necessary to provide care to specific patient populations.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • One to three years of clinical experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

    • 3. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
