    Job Title: Security Guard

    Company: Utah Transit Authority


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and control employee and public access to UTA facilities.
    • Identify and address potential safety hazards.

    Location: Salt Lake City Central - Depot District

    Time Type: Part Time (24-29 hours)

    Shifts:

    • Saturday and Sunday Nights, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
    • Flexibility required for other shifts and locations.

    *No Security Guard license required*

    Minimum Qualifications

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid Utah driver's license with safe driving record.
    • No more than four moving violations in the last three years.
    • No DUI violations in the last ten years.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Capable of preparing reports and handling multiple tasks.
    • Comfortable with emergency response.
    • Familiarity with basic PC operations.
    • Physical stamina for long periods of standing, walking, and bending.
    • Certification for emergency response and CPR preferred.
