    As the Maintenance Manager, you'll lead all maintenance operations with a focus on performance, safety, and efficiency. Your responsibilities include planning, budgeting, subcontractor management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You'll oversee routine tasks and major projects, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders. Adaptability, professionalism, and a commitment to safety are key for success in this role

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead and manage maintenance, subcontract solicitation, management, and safety efforts.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor departmental processes for project completion.
    • Control costs, prepare budgets, and submit financial reports to the Project Manager.
    • Track costs and schedules, making recommendations to reduce variances.
    • Prepare accurate estimates and maintain records.
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee routine tasks and major projects.
    • Ensure efficient completion of vessel tasks, including deactivation and maintenance.
    • Implement cost control procedures for all tasks.
    • Supervise ship movements.
    • Engage maintenance department in improving customer satisfaction.
    • Prioritize safety and compliance with regulations.
    • Monitor workforce performance and inspect job sites daily.
    • Develop departmental policies and procedures.
    • Schedule and coordinate equipment usage and training.
    • Maintain facility and vessel security.
    • Provide project status updates to the Project Manager.
    • Deliver timely and accurate reports and documentation.
    • Review completed projects and develop improvement plans.
    • Maintain a positive relationship with Contracting Officer's Representative.
    • Recruit, train, and promote qualified individuals.
    • Ensure adherence to corporate values and policies.
    • Administer discipline in line with company policies.
    • Hold employees accountable.
    • Provide performance feedback and coaching.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be eligible for Secret Clearance.
    • A four (4) year college degree
    • 3+ years of managerial experience in ship maintenance related activities, or equivalent OR 10+ years of experience in ship maintenance related roles, with at least 5 years in managerial capacities.
    • Valid state driver's license, with the ability to operate government/company vehicles as per the Corporate Vehicle Safety Manual.
    • PMP certification or willing to get within 6 month of employment
    • Must demonstrate the ability to effectively lead a team

    PREFERRED:

    • Navy or Maritime ship maintenance-related background with at least 5 years of which involved managerial responsibilities.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of 4 years of study
    • Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) and working on LCS class of ships

    Compensation depends on experience but is typically $90-100K
