    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technologist with a minimum of 18 months of experience for a 13-week assignment in a large acute care hospital radiology department in Morristown, NJ.

    Responsibilities
    Large 900-bed acute care hospital radiology department
    OR imaging experience required, as travelers must be able to work independently in a high-volume setting
    Experience with GE imaging equipment is required
    Epic used for charting
    3x13 hour overnight shifts per week, 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM, on a rotating 7-week schedule
    Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
    Maintain equipment, assess safety, and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
    Monitor need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures
    Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

    Requirements
    Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
    Graduate of an accredited radiography program
    Active NJ State RT License required if applicable
    Current ARRT certification
    Current BLS certification
    Proficiency with GE imaging equipment
    Experience with OR imaging and the ability to work independently
    Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care
    Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
