    DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE POSITION SUMMARY

    We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Director to become a part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local requirements, and as directed by the Administrator, to ensure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.

    We're looking for a highly competent and well-organized professional who values safety, security and patient wellness above all else. We focus on providing the best care possible while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction. The Maintenance Director is responsible for making sure those values are reflected in his or her staff at all times.

    Requirements:

    DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or relevant qualification.

    • Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance/facility related position.
    • Must be knowledgeable in boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
    • Knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
    • Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
    • Must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age.
