    Annual Starting Salary: $72,000+

    Plant/Work Location: 410 South Lemon Ave, Walnut, CA new location starting @July, 2024)

    (current location; 4701 East Airport Drive, Ontario, CA)

    Work Schedule: Full time with the ability to work from home 1 day a week.

    Whatare we looking for?

    The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for recruitment & hiring, employee relations, benefits / payroll administration, organization development / training, OSHA, compensation management, personnel record maintenance, FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation and CA employment law.

    The HR Specialist acts as an advisor, coach, and guide in all aspects of the employment life cycle.

    Requirements:

    Whatspecifically will you be doing?

    • Partnering with leadership to execute HR programs and initiatives: Recruitment & hiring, employee relations, benefits / payroll administration, organization development/training, OSHA, compensation management, personnel record maintenance, FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation and CA employment law.
    • Managing all pre-employment screening requirements; background checks, employment verifications, pre-employment drug screens/physicals, new hire orientations.
    • Leading and coordinating the safety program; investigating workplace injuries and near miss incidents.
    • Collaborating with managers to complete Individual Development Plans and Performance Improvement Plans.
    • Managing progressive disciplinary actions per established guidelines.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

    Travel

    Employee must be able to travel 10% of the time.

    What do we need from you?

    • Minimum of five years in a HR Generalist role, required.
    • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese, preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related, required.
    • HR Certification (PHR or above), strongly preferred.
    • Experience in an Industrial Manufacturing environment, strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the practices of Human Resources including recruitment & hiring, employee relations, benefits / payroll administration, organization development/training, OSHA, compensation, management, personnel record maintenance, FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation and CA employment law.

    What we would like from you, in addition to the above?

    • Experience with HRIS / HCM systems; Paylocity experience, strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated excellence with effective communication at all levels within the organization.
    • Strong organizational skills and extraordinary ability to work effectively under pressure while effectively managing multiple priorities.
    • Ability to handle confidential material and information in an ethical, professional manner.
