    Job title: Analyst

    Description

    The Strategic Communications Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the CT team's efforts to counter violent extremist organizations (VEOs) and malign ideologies. This includes developing and implementing proactive strategies, coordinating with Plans and Programs and IA officers, and monitoring and analyzing data to inform policy decisions.

    The Strategic Communications Coordinator will also provide support for the development and implementation of strategic communications programs that counter propaganda from VEOs and adherents, and will work closely with international counterparts, organizations, and coalitions to further the GEC CT mission.

    • Collaborates with Plans and Programs and IA officers to develop and implement proactive strategies to counter VEO influence and malign ideologies.
    • Monitors trends and recommends ways to fill programming gaps and identify new opportunities for exploration and/or expansion of existing efforts.
    • Supports development, implementation and coordination of U.S. government efforts to recognize, understand, expose, and counter foreign state propaganda and disinformation efforts aimed at undermining United States national security interests.
