    Continuous Improvement Engineer


    Location:
    Manchester Iowa area


    Wage:
    Up to $90k / year + full benefits package

    Direct Hire


    A local Northeast Iowa based manufacture is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer who will primarily be responsible for working with teams to lead the implementation and maturation of strategic Lean processes.

    This is a direct hire, meaning - the right ft candidate will directly onto the hiring company's payroll and be eligible for their robust benefits package.


    What you get to do:

    • Identifying and leveraging best practices in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement-related processes
    • Assisting in development of CI strategy and identifying opportunities for improvement across the organization
    • Evaluating and interpreting both industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems requirements with the goal of developing company procedures and instructions.
    • Helping site Quality teams and / or senior Quality leadership as subject matter expert to investigate and correct quality issues and establish continuous improvement opportunities
    • Lead and facilitate projects generated from our High-Performance Team Board process.
    • Lead and facilitate installation and implementation of ISO-9001 quality management systems.

    What we need from you:

    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering required.
    • Lean and /or 6-Sigma Green belta definite plus
    • Proven high level of Microsoft Excel skills required.
    • Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
    • Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan.
    • The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
    • Problem analysis and problem resolution at an organizational level.
