    Housekeeping Assistant for NHC Place at Cool Springs



    NHC Place at Cool Springs is seeking an energetic and self-motivated Housekeeping Assistant to join their team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of patient rooms, hallways, and common areas.



    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to comprehend Standard English
    • Effective communication with patients, families, colleagues, and visitors

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Stand for 7-8 hours daily
    • Perform tasks like stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
    • Lift objects ranging from 20 to 25 pounds frequently
    • Occasionally lift items weighing between 50 to 75 pounds
    • Occasionally move heavy furniture (75 to 100 pounds)
    • Good vision, hearing, and communication skills
    • Handle standard cleaning chemicals

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Specific duties are determined by the center and may include, but not limited to:

    • Clean patient bathrooms thoroughly
    • Dispose of trash from various areas
    • Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, including floor care and furniture dusting
    • Ensure hallways are clean following designated procedures
    • Clean walls, furniture, and equipment as required
    • Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning agents
    • Follow established cleaning schedules diligently
    • Perform other assigned duties as necessary
