Job Summary

Vistra's Summer Internship program's goal is to develop skills and provide experience for students pursuing a career in the field of power plant operations, maintenance and engineering. Candidate must be a self-starter, flexible, a quick learner, highly motivated and a good team player. Accordingly, you must possess communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership / initiative, and problem solving / decision making
skills.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

*Performs assigned task with frequent guidance from supervision *Gathers issue specific information to support studies *Assist in organization and implementation of assigned projects *Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment *Contribute to the preparing and presenting of reports *Participate in special project and committee assignments as requested *Participate in routine problem - solving efforts

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

*Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear)
