**Description**
**Machine Operator - Experienced Waterspider 2nd shift ($19/hour)**
**Reports to: Production Supervisor**
**Location: Holland, MI**
We have an exciting opportunity for a problem solver, a change agent who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. The **experienced Production Team Member** will be responsible for monitor production for accuracy and efficiency, including collaboration with the quality department to ensure the part meets all quality and performance specifications through performing quality checks. A successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, work in fast-paced environments and are high-energy.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Complete material changes on all Thermobond lines
Run production lines when volume doesn't support the need for water spider
Ensure all work cells are correct after the changeover
Assist with process changes as necessary
Create new waterjet recipes for new tools or tools moving from one line to another
Start-up processes after changeover and operational uptime through temporarily operating production when needed
Report out hour by hour efficiency, document downtime and material losses along with identifying root cause and when applicable implementing corrective actions
Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot processes and problems
Recommend improvements and support company continuous improvements initiatives
Support Process Engineer in resolving product non-conformity issues
Ensure procedures and processes followed by all team members
Keep plant tour-ready/Instill good housekeeping in all team members
Responsible for promoting a safe work environment and preventing injuries through 5S
Continuously analyze the assigned area of responsibility for improved methods of production, tool design, communication, reporting, cost controls and layout; make recommendations to supervisor for improvements
Use hi-lo for moving materials and parts
Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
**REQUIREMENTS:**
Associates degree or Technical Degree preferred
2+ years experience in a technical environment/role
Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
Demonstrated leadership skills
