The speech and language pathologist implements patient care services for patients with speech,language, fluency,voice swallowing,cognitive disorders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the patient caregivers to establish goals geared toward the experiences values priorities,and desired outcomes. ,
- Establishes an individualized plan of care selects therapeutic interventions that address the specific impairments identified in evaluation accordance physician orders. ,
- Conducts ongoing reassessment of the patient their response treatment .Initiates manages discharge plan beginning first visit continuing throughout treatment .Supervises delegates ancillary staff students consistent state laws department policy . , < li Complete legible accurate clear documentation established timeframe identified department policy procedure accordance accreditation requirements insurance regulations.
