Evening/Night Shift Sales Agent – Part Time

Y Cannabis is an adult-use cannabis dispensary with locations in Berkley, MA and Taunton, MA. We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Sales Agent to join our team. As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating customers about cannabis products, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis culture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding the sale and distribution of cannabis products.
3. Provide accurate information about various cannabis products, including strains, potency, and consumption methods.
4. Recommend products based on customers' preferences and needs.
5. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
6. Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulations.
8. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and discretion.
9. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product levels.
10. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 21 years of age.
2. Must pass all required background checks.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
4. Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
5. Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
6. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
9. Attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion in a regulated industry.
11. Willingness to adhere to strict compliance standards and regulations.
12. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
