Inventory Analyst - Oak Ridge

Job summary
This position is responsible for optimizing and maintaining inventory in SAP Hana.This position performs analysis, calculates economic order quantity, records minimums, maximums and reorder points and delivers data to inform acquisition strategy.
Understands and educates users in definitions of inventory material types (critical spares, spares, order on demand) and holding types (stores, direct charge non-value).
Position requires a self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision.Individual to provide central point of coordination to ensure material is received in a timely manner for stores and DCNV inventory procurements.
- Good working relationships with Suppliers Shipping & Receiving Engineering Construction Estimating within Supply Chain are essential.
- Works with Field Engineers FE Subcontract Technical Representatives STR or Technical Representatives TR to ensure materials are created and procured expediently.
