We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Donor Blood Collection Specialist to join our team at Mississippi Blood Services. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual income of $45,000 - $65,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of blood donors. Key responsibilities include:

Providing friendly, supportive, and professional interactions with donors, registration, donor screening, and safety procedures.
Accurately performing venipuncture, computer data entry, and paperwork documentation.
Managing multiple donor beds efficiently and effectively.
Maintaining cleanliness and calibration of equipment, as well as assisting with mobile setup and breakdown.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A high school diploma or equivalent and a stable work history.
Basic computer skills and ability to accurately perform data entry.
A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
The willingness to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a definite plus.
The ability to meet fluctuating work schedules, including overnight travel and out-of-town mobiles.
A strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others through this vital work.
