    Shift: Nights
    Position Summary:
    • Assist in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients.
    • Function as part of sterile team, maintaining a sterile field and providing instruments to surgeons.
    • Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies.
    Detailed Responsibilities:
    • Work with staff to gather supplies, equipment, and instruments.
    • Set up tables, instruments, and supplies for operations.
    • Assist in patient preparation, draping, and maintaining sterile field.
    • Document patient care activities and maintain computerized data.
    • Decontaminate equipment and supplies.
    • Perform restocking duties and maintain suture levels.
    • Enhance professional growth through education and participation in programs.
    Qualifications:
    • High School or GED Equivalent.
    • 2 years of related experience.
    • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Certification.
    Physical Conditions: Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and may handle hazardous materials.
    Working Conditions: Exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials.
