    Job DescriptionEmployee's Role:
    Director of Field PayrollWhite Plains, NY
    The role of the Director of Field Payroll is to manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll department to include verification of worked hours, checking calculations, running the payroll process and associated reporting

    Wage/Hour Classification:
    Exempt

    Reporting To:
    VP of Financial Operations


    Qualifications:
    1. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting.
    years of experience in payroll processing.
    3. Demonstrated expertise at the intermediate level of Excel and Microsoft Office.
    4. Strong problem solving capabilities.
    5. Solid oral and written communication skills.
    6. Demonstrated proficiency in learning applications, portals, software and websites.
    7. Experience with high volume multi-state, multi-location payroll processing and tax
    reporting.8. Experience with "ADP Work Force Now" a plus.
    9. Managed staffs of at least 5 professionals.

    Additional Requirements:
    Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulatory requirements including Department of Labor regulations

    Essential Job Responsibilities:
    1. Manage daily operations of the Payroll department.
    2. Supervise payroll department staff.
    3. Participate in the selection, orientation, training and evaluation of staff.
    4. Insure pay rates are accurate and conform to state regulations.

    5. Ensure tax rates are accurate and updated timely.
    6. Oversee preparation of weekly payroll for field employees.\
    7. Timely completion of the payroll process and generation of reports/files to be transmitted to
    ADP and bank.
    8. Interact with Team Liaisons as appropriate on problem resolution and implementation of
    new processes.
    9. Train new staff on internal computer systems, as applicable.
    10. Communicate with Office Administrators and their staff regarding payroll issues.
    11. Enter and track payroll rate adjustments/corrections, vacations, In Services and travel
    reimbursements.
    12. Enter garnishments, union deductions and other adjustments.
    13. Respond to all audit inquiries.
    14. Ensure all HIPAA requirements are adhered to.
    15. Follow all Agency policies and procedures.
    16. Performs other duties as assigned.
    17. Required to be in the office 5 days a week.
