    Description

    Rocket Oil Company/Ideal Markets is seeking an individual to serve in the newly created role of Payroll/Human Resource Coordinator. This person will serve our 300-person team by preparing payroll and providing human resource support.

    • Is competent with the Microsoft Office Suite, principally Word and Excel.
    Human resources responsibilities will include:
    • Understanding the Company's Employee Handbook and supporting team members in complying with its terms.
    • Making timely benefit offers and executing and documenting Associates' decisions.
    • Working with Management to administer the annual health insurance open enrollment process.
    • Using Paylocity's Learning Management System to track Associate's training progress.
    • Collaborating with the Company's insurance provider to manage on-the-job injury claims.
    Payroll responsibilities will include:
    • Working with Store Managers to ensure the accuracy of information entered in the new hire onboarding process.
    • Preparing the weekly payroll using the Paylocity payroll system.
    • Making pay rate changes as directed.
    • Managing garnishment orders and other agency requests.
    Requirements

    Preferred Experience Includes:
    • Three years of related work experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
    • Familiarity with Cloud-based Payroll Software , such as Paylocity or ADP.
    • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and standards (such as ADA, FMLA ACA and EEO
