    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room (OR), including preoperative assessment, intraoperative care, and postoperative monitoring.
    • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other members of the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
    • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with surgical procedures as needed, following established protocols and standards of care.
    • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control procedures to prevent surgical site infections and ensure patient safety.
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record system.

    Qualifications:

    • Active RN license in Florida (or compact state) with at least two years of recent Operating Room experience.
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
    • Flexibility to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask while providing high-quality patient care.
