    Job Title: Operations Manager-Residential Furniture

    Location: Greater Baltimore Area (local candidates preferred, or willing to relocate within a few weeks)

    Work Environment: Onsite in Greater Baltimore-Area, No Remote

    Department: Logistics and Residential

    Basic Function

    The Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing and streamlining warehouse operations, particularly in the context of logistics for residential furniture. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of managing teams, maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Salary and Compensation:

    • Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum.
    • Bonus: Discretionary bonuses based on individual performance, the performance of the warehouse branch, and the overall performance of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.

    • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
    • Conduct performance reviews and handle leave requests.
    • Drive cost-effective practices without compromising service quality.
    • Maintain a clean, secure, and well-organized facility.
    • Facilitate training and professional development for team members.
    • Handle administrative tasks related to operations and personnel.

    Experience/Skill Requirements:

    • Strong background in residential furniture services, with previous experience and tenure with furniture organizations consisting of furniture warehouse operations management experience.
    • Experience in a leadership role with a larger commercial moving company is also acceptable.
    • Effective team management and delegation abilities.

    Education/Training:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
