- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and socio-emotional functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students with diverse needs.
- Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with academic and behavioral challenges.
- Consult with teachers and parents regarding strategies to address students' learning and behavior difficulties.
- Participate in the evaluation and identification of students for special education services.
- Assist in the implementation of school-wide programs aimed at fostering positive school climate and mental health awareness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Georgia.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
- Familiarity with special education laws, regulations, and IEP development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
