Landscape Construction Superintendent - Denver, CO

A Lifescape Superintendent plays an integral part in delivering and monitoring high quality landscape construction projects This position is responsible for leading multiple crews communicating updates daily with Project Construction Managers designers and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Quality Landscape Installation Accurately installs project according to plans and budgetReviews understands and follows blueprints grading plans irrigation plans planting plans construction drawings proposals and budgetsEstablishes gradeslevels using a laser or zip levelConsults with Project Managers Construction Managers and other stakeholders throughout projectProvides high level white glove customer serviceQuality Control Inspects all assigned projects while analyzing resolving problems Escalates major problems to assigned Project ManagerOversees production of assigned projects ensuring each project is kept on schedule and on budgetCommunicates project updates progress issues to Project & Construction Managers promptly for each projectVisits worksites daily meets with Foreman capture project updates assist with project when necessaryAssists oversight subcontractors ensure quality work timely accurate completion of projectsProject Crew Management Manages front line crews adherence budgetsConsults Project Managers Construction Managers other stakeholders develop action plansManages equipment utilization on projects equipment storage maintenance security Ensures that all construction services delivered according to contract specifications within budget on scheduleAssists Construction Managers onsite coaching evaluating training front line crews in landscape construction best practiceTime Management Reports hours project progress via designated channelsMaintains accurate daily time keeping via timekeeping softwareAccurately report timecards internal stakeholders daily basisManages crew ensure projects stay within assigned hours budgetTraining Development Safety Identifies training needs front line crew membersEnsures that all safety Lifecare standards followed Acts reports unsafe conditions promptlyEvaluates employee safety data promoting safe work practices conditions ensuring employees attend weekly safety meetingsConducts weekly truck trailer inventories assigned crewsEnsures equipment tools properly maintainedEvaluates equipment utilization recommends future equipment tool purchasesSnow Crew Maintains 24 hour status during snow seasonProperly operates snow removal equipmentPlows shovels blows apply ice melt designated areas as assignedTraining Certifications OSHA higher preferredBilingual EnglishSpanish preferredQualifications Bachelors degree Horticulture Construction related field study; years combined education experience lieu degreeAble effectively use Microsoft Office Suite Create edit documents Word write respond emails Outlook edit update Excel worksheetsFamiliarity construction software job packs Enter review timecards production reporting forecasting manage subcontractors materialsAble read write speak EnglishAble understand speak Spanish preferredAble read interpret construction plans job packs verbal instructionsAble perform aspects landscape hardscape irrigation construction
