The Kenwood by Senior Star is seeking a Food and Beverage Director. The Food and Beverage Director oversees the food and beverage department and is directly responsible for all food service personnel and operation of the kitchen and dining rooms and ensures a high quality dining experience to Senior Star residents.

As a Food and Beverage Director, my typical day will include:
Providing a high quality dining experience
+ Plans and promotes a dietary food services program that incorporates a wide variety of tastes, following menu requirements
+ Food and supply inventory, maintains records and meal cost summaries
+ Adheres to budget
Overseeing the sanitation and regulations of food service
+ OSHA and safety regulations
Supervising the food and beverage associates
+ Recruiting, training, mentoring
Interacting with residents and other department staff
As someone who is qualified for this role, I possess the following knowledge and skills:
Food and beverage management experience in Senior Housing
Experience as an Executive Chef
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to motivate and inspire others.
As someone who is qualified for this role, I am:
Able to stand, sit, walk, squat, kneel, bend, reach and grasp frequently;
Able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and over 20 pounds occasionally; and
Speak, see, and hear, so that I can communicate with residents and co-workers;
