Job summary
This position performs basic maintenance service and repair of J.B. Hunt tractors and other equipment under close supervision.Technicians must be able to complete all fleet maintenance processes ensure units meet J.B. Hunt specifications at all times.
This position has possibility of working outdoors in elements or across multiple shifts including nights weekends overtime requiring full-time attendance.
- Demonstrate foundational technical knowledge preventative maintenance replacement parts/components basic repairs tractor maintenance fuel system battery engine drive train onboard computer transmission air brake systems FHWA Inspections.
- Work independently seek assistance needed.
- Understand effectively follow shop safety procedures.
