- A medical staff of more than 150 surgeons who are board certified or eligible for certification
- Anesthesiologists who specialize in pediatric care
- Registered nurses certified in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support; many of the registered nurses are certified in their areas of specialty, such as operating room and recovery room nursing
- Surgical technologists and assistants who are specially trained to assist the physicians
- We are Joint Commission certified
- Bachelor's degree. If not BSN, must be currently pursuing.
- Current RN license in the State of Wisconsin.
- CNOR or CPAN/CAPA required or obtained within one year of hire into position.
- 5 years of surgical services experience and 3 years of supervisory experience required.
- Strong communication skills.
- BLS and PALS certification obtained within 6 months of hire into position.
- Analytical and statistical skills necessary to develop and monitor operating and personnel budgets.
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities in order to resolve complex clinical, systems, and personnel problems and issues.
- Communication and interpersonal skills which frequently involve collaborating with peers and leaders on policy and procedure matters.
- Computer expertise with Windows office products.
- Ability to organize time to meet projected target dates for project completion.

In conjunction with the Director, manages the overall patient care delivery of the Surgicenter to meet the needs of patients, physicians and staff and to assure compliance with the mission, vision and goals, of the organization. Responsible for the daily operations of the facility and supervises activities of assigned staff. Manages budget preparation and administration for the Surgicenter. Member of the Surgicenter leadership team which supports the facility and patient care philosophy and goals. Assures accreditation standards as well as organization standards are met for education, orientation clinical practice and competency assessment.
