    Description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Pastry Cook to join our outstanding team of service leaders at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon New York & Miami, the newest venture by Chef Joël Robuchon.

    This role involves working closely with the Pastry Chef in production and service, providing exposure to a variety of cooking techniques and top-notch ingredients.

    Your Responsibilities:
    • Oversee assigned areas of pastry production and manage service operations.
    • Follow recipes diligently, maintain kitchen equipment, and ensure punctuality.
    • Apply knowledge of fundamental pastry techniques such as scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, and decorating.
    • Contribute to creating an innovative pastry program for the restaurants and bakery, including seasonal specials.
    • Work collaboratively with the bakery team to maintain quality standards and uphold the Chef's directives.
    • Ensure all necessary ingredients are stocked in the restaurant/bakery at the beginning of each shift and communicate any requirements promptly.
    Your Qualifications:
    • 1-3 years of professional cooking experience in a high-caliber restaurant or similar establishment.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent education level; proficiency in basic mathematical operations.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to comprehend and communicate in clear English.
    • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Organized, motivational, excellent communication skills, and personable demeanor. Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.
    • Passionate individuals dedicated to pursuing a career in the culinary arts.
