Equipment Engineer

We're searching for an Equipment Engineer to be part of our Etch diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on:

Maximize uptime of equipment to sustain equipment performance with quality.

Effective troubleshooting of equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime.

Monitor and control equipment performance indices.

Co-ordinate with both process and manufacturing Engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives.

Establish sufficient essential spares and consumables stock levels to support equipment maintenance, and liaise with vendors to minimize/eliminate overstocking and understocking.

Forecast and review equipment spares and other equipment-related expenditures.

Plan and implement effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) program on the equipment as well as organize installation of new equipment to support the production ramp.

Organize training and certification for equipment AE and new equipment engineers to upgrade their technical skills.

Implement equipment improvement projects to upkeep capabilities and reliabilities of equipment.

Co-ordinate new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hook-up, vendor start-up, to acceptance of equipment for production.
