    Job Description Summary

    The Production Control Analyst will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules for both the OE and R&O shop. As a P&L site, our performance is directly measured by improving margins to generate higher profits for the business. Due to this, it is critical to plan and optimize production plans and needs through the shop. Coordinate with Programs and within Shop Operations. Must utilize a comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles. Requires a strong knowledge of master planning, supervision, material processes and systems.

    Job Description

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
    • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
    • Optimize WIP and process improvements
    • Leads analytical and Lean activities using vested approaches and methods
    • Communicates to business unit , peers, internal customers, and outside vendors
    • Presents to senior leaders regarding strategy, delivery status, etc.
    • Works on cross-functional projects / teams to improve metrics, shop efficiency, and delivery for the business
    • Growing Production System and linking to Lean strategy
    • Supervise hourly team members where necessary.
    • Leads Customer Focus through OTD and TAT metrics while working towards improvements, repeatability and delinquency reduction.
    • Stakeholder and contributor to S&OP process with capacity support
    • Understanding of AS9100 process.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • ​Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Manufacturing)
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Planning/Manufacturing Operations {OR graduate of GE's Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP)}

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Demonstrated experience with master planning and production scheduling
    • Deep knowledge of material processes and systems
    • Understanding of MRP/ERP systems (i.e. Oracle)
    • Understanding of shop metrics, financials, and operating rhythms
    • Demonstrated examples of process improvement and change management
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Ability to influence others and lead small teams
    • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
    • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
    • Effective problem identification and solution skills
    • Proven analytical and organizational ability
